April’s interest in engineering was sparked at secondary school when she chose a GCSE in the built environment. She went on to secure a spot on the Digital Engineering Apprenticeship at Laing O’Rouke, and a year and a half into the programme she reflects on her journey so far.

Phillip Crummey, GES Group

Phillip began his 4-year Electrical Installation Apprenticeship in 2019 and is now working as a fully-qualified Electrical Engineer and looking ahead to the future, including mentoring new apprentices.
